These past few months have been good for gamers. After a dry spell at the start of the year, the games started pouring out. The recently released games are Resident Evil Village, New Pokémon Snap, Returnal, and Mass Effect: Legendary Edition all within a few weeks. But we guess this is not the end though as the next few months have several big releases lined up to make your excitement go through the roof.
Some delays are possible few games have been pushed out of 2021 like Hogwarts Legacy and Gran Turismo 7. While games like Deathloop, Prince of Persia, and Far Cry have been delayed of their initial release. Keeping these games aside here are some of the biggest titles that are arriving in 2021.
Knockout City
Release Date: May 21
The Knockout City looks simple and familiar. There are teams of the player running around the city and throwing things at each other to get the win. The city in this game has more of a futuristic skate punkish theme. These are some of the multi-player modes that you can try like dodgeballs, Knockout City, a cross between dodgeball and Splatoon is all you having fun with your team. This game is supported on PC, Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X and S.
Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart
Release Date: June 11
Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart was meant to be released when the PlayStation 5 was releasing but when 2020 ended it still didn’t have any release dates. So, after few months of silence in February, they revealed that Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart will have a release date of June 11. This is specially made for PlayStation 5 as you won’t be able to play it on PS4 or any other console.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake: Intergrade
Release date: June 10
Final Fantasy 7 Remake: Intergrade is making a comeback to PlayStation 5, but it’s not the older version which was standard 60 frames-per-second at 4K treatment. Now Final Fantasy 7 Remake: (Intergrade) means it brings a new chapter to the story in which you play as Yuffie, a favorite character of people who played this game.
Launching on June 10, owners of Final Fantasy 7 Remake: Intergrade have said that PS4 will get a free upgrade.
Mario Golf Super Rush
Release date: June 25
Mario is getting ready to play golf again. Mario Golf Super Rush reprises the N64’s Mario golf and this is Mario’s third sports jaunt on the switch after they released the Tennis and Winter Olympics. Mario Golf Super Rush includes an excellent multiplayer mode as well as you get a good role-playing single-player mode that stars your Mii.
Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD
Release date: July 16
Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 is still not final and has no release dates but in the meantime, Nintendo is reviving its old classic Skyward Sword released in 2011 on the Wii for the switch. Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD will run at 60-frames-per-second. Enjoy the Amiibo support and use the Joy-Cons to control Link’s sword and shield.
Neo: The World Ends with you
Release date: July 27
Neo: The World Ends with you is a classic cult game on the Nintendo DS and now 14 years after its initial release it is getting a sequel. Neo: The World Ends with you adds another dimension to the game it’s now a 3D action RPG game. It will be produced by Tetsuya Nomura of Kingdom Hearts and Neo: The World Ends with you will launch both on PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
No More Heroes 3
Release Date: August 27
No More Heroes 3 is a compact action game series that began back in 2008 on the Wii. Since it was released, it enjoyed strong critical acclaim. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there was a delay in the initial release but it will finally release on switch on august 27.
Grand Theft Auto V
Release date: Sometime in 2021
We know some of you have been waiting for Grand Theft Auto V only. Grand Theft Auto V has been the best-selling game on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and now if we guess on November 11 it’s coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

Age of Empire IV
Release Date: Sometime in 2021
We don’t know exactly when Age of Empire IV will be released this year. The game was initially announced in 2017. We saw a glimpse of gameplay in 2019 and got a new trailer in march of 2021. The theme and format are the same as the people loved but with vastly improved graphics and they show four of the civilizations known to be in the game: English, Mongol, Chinese, and Delhi Sultanate.
The game is scheduled to hit the PC and other consoles later this year though we couldn’t find the exact release date.
