Kate Winslet Could Not Remember During the Filming Whether She Was Working on the Second or Third Av

And, there is no one that can blame her for that since the filming of both the Avatar sequels has happened simultaneously.

The veteran actress Kate Winslet, who is going to star in the film “Avatar 2” (the sequel to the iconic 2009 film), has revealed that being involved in the production of two Avatar sequels led her to have disordered memory about the sequel she was working on.

The director of the upcoming science-fiction thriller, James Cameron, has already revealed that he has been working on four sequels, which will be released sequentially in this decade.

Kate Winslet was cast in the film as Ronal (“water person”), and though she has done her job in at least two of the sequels, she has no clue how many sequels has Cameron planned to produce simultaneously due to the frenetic filming schedule planned by him for the sequel in the recent times.

Winslet, also renowned for her portrayal of Rose DeWitt Bukater, has recently talked to Marc Maron in his WTF podcast. He told Marc that she has trouble remembering how many sequels Cameron had planned to make at once. However, she did reveal that she did at least two sequels at once under him. She commented further and said that all of her work was actually wrapped up in 2018, but the cast and crew are still busy shooting the remaining portion of the film. She offered that the team under Cameron are currently shooting the live-action scenes.

In her interview with Marc Maron, she also talked about her good times on the Avatar set. She told him that she has thoroughly enjoyed being a pivotal part of the Avatar franchise (which stars Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana in the leading roles). In the interview, she has also offered some crucial pieces of information pertaining to her obscure role of Ronal.

She has described her experiences of playing Ronal as “extraordinary.” She alluded to the fact that most of her scenes are underwater and said that she had shot her parts in an aircraft-like vehicle. She told Marc that in the aircraft, anything is possible. Whether you want to fly or swim or even spear fight under the water, you name it; she could do everything in it.

She added that apart from being part of a highly impressive story, she also got to work with extremely professional artists and technicians.

The details pertaining to the second Avatar film and other films in development are limited to very people, and almost next to nothing is out there in the public domain. However, it has been revealed to us that Avatar 2 will shed some light on the underwater realms of Pandora and will extensively focus on the relationship between the protagonists Jake Sully (played by Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (played by Zoe Saldana).

The second Avatar film will mark the second instance that Kate Winslet and James Cameron will work together in a film, with the first one being the 1997 film “Titanic.” Winslet has revealed in the interview that James Cameron has an aura of confidence about making “Avatar” a successful franchise.

She added that since James Cameron has created the world of Pandora, he has reached a sense of calmness that exuberates confidence in his work, which in turn brings people together for collaboration and understanding.

Avatar 2 will be released on December the 16th, 2022, if all goes well from here on.
