Instagram is one of the most popular social media platforms all over the world in which we can share photos and videos. One of the best features of Instagram is Story Sharing, on which you can share many photos and videos with your followers. For the last 4-5 months, the demand for Instagram has increased a lot because of its exciting new features. Nowadays, Instagram account is used by businesses as well because it helps them promote their brand and business.
There can be many reasons why Instagram deletes or disables the account. For example, illegal activities, being reported by others, or violating terms and conditions, hate speech, and nudity. Once you log in, you may encounter some errors such as “Your account has been disabled” or “We’re sorry, something went wrong, or even this “username “Not Found” error may also occur. In the year 2019, Instagram has been changed its disabling policies, and if they find someone is violating its terms and conditions, they will notify about the closure of the account.
How to get back your Instagram account?
Open the Instagram app and then try to log in with the correct credentials. After tapping on “Login,” if you see a message that reads “Your account has been disabled” (or something like that), then you violated the terms of Instagram use. Due to this, your account has been disabled.
If you see only one error message (e.g., “Incorrect password or username”), then your account has not been disabled by Instagram. If you have deleted your Instagram account, then after deleting you will not be able to activate it again.
If your Instagram account is actually disabled, the first thing that pop-ups a warning message while opening the account is to “Learn more.” The warning message reads: “Your account has been disabled for violating our terms.”
You need to tap on the option given. Learn more after clicking on the option, and you have a new window saying your account has been disabled for not following our terms and conditions. There is a link at the bottom of the text, which says, “Let us Know.” Click on it.
Once you have done it, you got an option at the bottom “Is this account used to represent a business, product, or service?”. So you click either yes or No.
Then, go ahead and fill out the information as required. You can enter your details that should be associated with your Instagram account, like your full name, email address, phone number, Instagram handle.
Now you can enter your appeal request: In the last text box on the page, type a good message in response to why you do not want your account to be disabled. Once you enter all details, Tap on “Send.”
So, after the process is done, you need to wait for 24 to 48 hours, and you will get an email that will explain why your Instagram account has been deleted or deactivated. Along with this, there will be a verify option at the bottom of the same email, from where you can verify your account by entering the password of your Instagram account.
But keep in mind that in order to recover your disabled account, you have to pass the appeal process. This is the only way that happens if your account was accidentally disabled. If you did severely violate the Instagram terms of service, you might not necessarily get it back.
