Dave Bautista Has Alluded to the Fact That Drax Could Be Seen in the Film “Thor: Love and Thunder”

WWE star and famous for films such as Spectre, Blade Runner 2049, and Guardians of the Galaxy, Dave Bautista has also shared with his followers his preparation and muscle build-up for his return as Drax for the film “Thor: Love and Thunder.”

Now, with the inclusion of Drax, we can rest assured that the famous “Guardians of the Galaxy” are going to be a part of “Thor: Love and Thunder” and understandably so since the mighty Thor included himself in the group at the end of Avengers: Endgame. Several members of the Guardians team, including Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Pom Klementieff (Mantis), and Vin Diesel (Groot), have already made clear that their characters will be featuring in the upcoming Chris Hemsworth starrer, and now, Dave Bautista has also confirmed about the presence of Drax in the film.

Dave Bautista has recently shared an image of himself to his followers on Instagram and has added a caption, which clearly indicates that he is all set to reprise his character of Drax. In the image, which is available on the internet, you can see him sitting on the chair with a nicely shaven head and his characteristic tattoos on his body, which further indicates that he is definitely preparing to reappear as Drax in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Bautista has been a vital part of MCU since the 2014 film “Guardians of the Galaxy,” which saw him play the character of Drax for the first time. All the fans have enjoyed his portrayal, and they are hoping that he must continue for many more years to come.

Though Drax is a warrior, he has acted as a much needed comic relief in all the films he has featured in. The humor was inevitable to ensue because Drax is more straightforward than needed, and he does not really have a filter for his thoughts. He says what he wants.

Apart from Dave Bautista, the likes of Jumanji star Karen Gillan and Parks and Recreation star Chris Pratt have already flown down to Australia in order to be a part of pre-production training. Christian Bale, who is a prominent and very surprising addition to the list of the ensemble cast, has also flown down to Australia to participate in the pre-production training.

Of course, we cannot miss out on Natalie Portman, who will be reprising her role of Jane Foster in the film after almost a decade. She is also in the country since September of last year.

Sean Gunn has also confirmed that Bradley Cooper’s animal character, Rocket Raccoon, will also be featured in the film. And obviously, Chris Hemsworth will lead the cast, and he does not even need to go anywhere as he is a resident of Australia.

The film has been pitched as the one that will give the audience an Avengers like feeling; however, the release date of the film is still very far as it will arrive after the release of few other tentpoles, which includes “Black Widow” (which is expected to come out in May of this year), and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which has been widely considered as the biggest upcoming MCU film.
